On Sunday, October 2, 2016, Brampton Meals on Wheels held its first Walk-a-Thon with great success.

 

All participants received a BMOW  T-shirt and bottles of water while they travelled around the streets of Williams Parkway, McLaughlin, Bovaird, Gillingham and arriving back on Main Street North at Peel Manor.   The event was celebrated with a BBQ Lunch with all the trimming, followed with a delicious slice of cake.

 

Brampton Meals on Wheels registered trademark is “Every Meal Comes with a Smile” which incorporates our theme “Miles for Smiles”.   BMOW would like to thank all those who donated to attain our goal in educating awareness about our service. The Walk-A-Thon raised over $5,000 and will be used to support BMOW in our great city.

 

BMOW would also like to thank the City of Brampton and the Brampton Professional Fire Fighters Association for their support and generous contribution.
