Brampton Meals on Wheels would like to take the opportunity to THANK Ms. Hacksel’s grade one class at Castlemore Public School for their generous donation from your Pingy Pendants fundraiser.

We were wondering why we received this huge envelope from Castlemore Public school. Imagine our surprise and delight when we opened the envelope and seen this wonderful letter written by Ms. Hacksel and the Grade One class. We were overjoyed to see your gift.

We are so grateful that your class chose Brampton Meals on Wheels as a recipient of your fundraising event. It is amazing that a group of 6 and 7 year olds can work as a team and have such a successful event. The whole school participated in a positive manner. The money raised went to help Mr. V. with the Design Den in the library and still your class wanted to help and give to others in the community of Brampton.

Brampton Meals on Wheels will pay it forward by giving someone a helping hand by providing meals to them.

Your Pingy Pendants with a smiley face necklace matches our trademark, “Every Meal Comes with a Smile”. How appropriate, as it puts a smile on my team faces too. Every time we look at your Necklaces that you gave us, it’s put a smile on our faces. We also put your letter and pictures in our office for all our Volunteers and staff to see. This was a great team effort. We hope that you are all proud of yourselves.

Your class is helping us to fulfil our mission to provide a service in Brampton that delivers nutritious meals to individuals who need assistance through the support of friendly volunteers. These volunteers deliver every meal with a smile.

Thank you also for letting us visit your class so that we could personally thank you in person. We adored your questions about our organization and what we do on a daily basis. What made us happy was the fact that you care about your community and want the world to be a better place to grow in.
