Brampton Farmers’ Market ends October 8th.

Brampton Farmers’ Market ends October 8th.

Brampton Farmers’ Market ends this Saturday.

So many Bramptonians have enjoyed the 2011 Farmers’ Market in Downtown Brampton this year.  But, all good things sometimes come to an end.  And this Saturday, October 8th is the last day of the Farmers’ Market – so enjoy it all.  Rain or shine, the farmers are there from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.  Main Street in Downtown Brampton is closed to traffic and turned into a vibrant outdoor festival marketplace. Visitors gather to buy the freshest, local Ontario produce, hand-made crafts, preserves, baked goods and much more from more than 40 vendors.

The produce you select is picked only hours earlier…from the field straight to you with no stops, no delays along the way. Brampton Farmers’ Market vendors come from as far away as Beamsville, Niagara-on-the-Lake, and Vineland Station and as close as Georgetown but still within the 100-mile locally grown radius.  You are buying fresh, seasonal food straight from the farmer.  It doesn’t get any better than that!

See you next year at the Brampton Farmers’ Market.  And happy harvesting to all the wonderful farmers and vendors.  Thanks for coming to Brampton!
