The spirit of the holiday’s shine bright in Brampton.

Together, let’s help those in need.

It’s been a difficult year for many folks in our community and we want to let them know – we care about you and we want to help!   From November 18th to December 16, 2011, you’re invited to support the Christmas Charity Drive for the Brampton Food Sharing Network and the Toys for Tots campaign.  There a many conveniently located drop off locations across the city.  You are welcome to drop off your non-perishable food donations and/or new, unwrapped toys at any of these locations:

– Brampton City Hall (downtown Brampton)

– Any Brampton Community Centre

– Any Brampton Library

– Any Brampton Fire Station

The Salvation Army of Brampton will collect and distribute all food donations through the Brampton Food Sharing Network.  Toys will be picked up by Peel Regional Police and distributed throughout the Region of Peel.  For more information about these programs or drop-off location details, please call 905-874-2828.  Thank you for your support and for giving! Working together always makes a difference.

Stay Healthy.  Live Well.

This Saturday, November 26 from 9am to 4pm is the Brampton Health and Wellness Fair at the Rose Theatre.  It’s a great opportunity to expand your knowledge, get great health tips, meet local health practitioners, source local health and wellness services and products, get in shape, eat better, learn about alternative wellness solutions.

Great gift ideas all under one roof!

Plus, on the same day, you’re invited to shop at the Brampton Arts & Crafts Festival at the Rose Theatre too.   You’ll find a wonderful collection of artists, artisans, creative folk and entertainers that will be on hand to greet and entertain the whole family!  Finding that special gift just got a whole lot easier!  Admission is $2 and parking is free.

We hope you enjoy the weekend and we look forward to hearing from you soon.
