On Monday, November 21st, 2016 Brampton Meals on Wheels (BMOW) staff, board members, volunteers and special guests celebrated another amazing year of service with a Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon held at The Garden Banquet & Convention Centre.

As part of the celebration, BMOW gratefully accepted a custom designed vehicle generously donated by Performance Auto Group.   These new “wheels” will be used to help promote BMOW’s programs and services, and to deliver meals throughout the Brampton area.  As part of their Community Engagement Sponsorship, Performance Auto Group is providing BMOW with a new 2017 KIA SORENTO, completely personalized with BMOW’s logo and contact information.  On top of that, Performance Auto Group also presented each and every volunteer and staff member with a $750 gift certificate to be used in the purchase of a new or previously owned vehicle.

It is through the generous donation of time, gifts in-kind and money from our community and volunteers that BMOW is able to fulfill its mission to deliver nutritious meals to individuals who need assistance, through the support of friendly volunteers who deliver every meal with a smile.

Brampton Meals on Wheels President Amanda Blaber says “we are once again overwhelmed by the opportunity that Performance Auto Group has given us. Their generosity and commitment to supporting the local community is inspiring. We are honoured they have chosen to partner with us again.”
