Travel the world… in our backyard!

Travel the world… in our backyard!

Seeing the world is easy … and you don’t have to leave Brampton!

This weekend starts a fantastic Multicultural Festival across many parts of Brampton called Carabram.  You can visit 12 countries in 3 days.  All you need is your Carabram Passport.

Sing-a-long to traditional music and dance in Bangladesh. Or visit the Canada pavilion for an original BeaverTail pastry created by the Liaison Culinary School and enjoy Aaron Bell’s Ojibway Story Teller and the White Pine Dancers.  Be sure to visit the “Windows to India” pavilion for a colourful look at their diverse costumes, enchanting music and tasty foods.  Plus, you can visit the Caribbean, Hawaii, Ireland, Latin America, Macedonia, Myanmar, Philippines, Poland and United Africa on your grand tour.

Carabram Passports can be purchased for only $10 until July 7th and $12 from July 8-10 for adults and children over the age of 12.  Passports are now on sale at Customer Service at Shoppers World, the Bramalea City Centre, Brampton Transit bus terminals and various other retailers and Rec Centres throughout the City.

For more information about all the pavilions and festivities, visit www.carabram.org or call 416-452-4917.

We hope you enjoy your weekend and all the festivities in town.
