Gobble, Gobble Give Thanks this weekend!

Gobble, Gobble Give Thanks this weekend!

Thanksgiving is all about Thanks and Giving.

On behalf of everyone at Brampton Meals on Wheels, we wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving long weekend.  Whatever you do, wherever you go, be sure to look around and give thanks to family, friends and neighbours for our great community and all the goodness in our great country of Canada.  We truly are lucky.

We also give thanks to all our Clients.  We appreciate your business and we strive to always to better day after day, year after year.

To our Volunteer Drivers, we say thanks for your ongoing commitment to delivering meals and smiles to those in need in our community.  They say “You get what you give” and you all give a great deal of your time and energy.

To the Food Service Department at Peel Manor, we give thanks to the Food Service Supervisors, Registered Dietician and Certified Cooks for all their hardwork.  They prepare hundreds of meals a day and ensure that all meals are balanced, have a lot of variety and are nutritious.

We also give thanks to the Volunteer Board of Directors who give so much of their time, resources and ideas to ensure we promote Brampton Meals on Wheels in the community and deliver on our mandate.

A big thanks goes to Karen, Rosa, Bonnie and Flora that run the Brampton Meals on Wheels Administrative Office.  They are a team of professional, courteous and dedicated people that keep the entire operation running smoothly. They work closely with the Peel Manor team, offer training and coordinate schedules with all our Volunteers and, more importantly, manage the needs of our clients.  You are truly a committed group of people that go the extra mile time and time again.

We also give thanks to our Fans on Facebook, Followers on Twitter and readers of our weekly Blog.  We love to share what’s happening at Brampton Meals on Wheels and in our lovely community too.

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving long weekend and all the best to you and your family.  See you back here next week.
